Dear Valued Community Member,

For many young Ecuadorians, organized soccer is an opportunity to learn valuable skills, stay
healthy, and an opportunity to turn their dreams into a reality. Soccer is the most popular sport
in Ecuador and almost every young person who can play does. However, some families
struggle financially and are unable to supply their kids with the proper equipment needed to
play.

I am reaching out to you today with a simple and heartfelt request. We are asking for your help
in order to provide soccer cleats and equipment to the disadvantaged youth in Ecuador. Proper
equipment can be all it takes to keep someone in the sport of soccer and on the right track to
having a better future for themselves. With your help, we can supply equipment for these
children while helping them build their love for soccer and having them learn valuable life
lessons the sport can teach over the years.

Your donation will go directly to equipping a disadvantaged child with the right gear to play
organized soccer. With your gift, they will be given the opportunity to build the skills that come
with the game. Teamwork, resilience, toughness, and tenacity. For some, soccer will lead to
major opportunities for higher education, employment, and leadership in their communities.

My goal with the Andres E. Acevedo Memorial Foundation is to honor my son and the game he
loved the most while helping provide opportunities for disadvantaged kids all over Ecuador. This
cause is extremely close to my heart, and with your donation, we can make a difference in the
lives of many young Ecuadorians.
